Megha Desai is the Director of The Desai Family Foundation as well as an Integrated Marketing Consultant based in New York City.
Previously, Megha was an Account Director at Anomaly Communications. In this role, Megha acted as a strategic consultant for top-level executives at a large beverage company. Prior to Anomaly, Megha spent nearly six years at Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York City, a premier global advertising agency. Her expertise lies in the strategic and creative development of communications platforms for products and brands, as well as their subsequent production, which has included the production of a television show. These platforms help propel new product launches, enable line extensions, or re-invigorate older brands.
Megha has been devoted to public service all her life, as exemplified by her continuing efforts with Columbia University's Community Impact. As a member of the Steering Committee of South Asians for Kerry in 2004 she registered hundreds of voters and brought the concerns of her community to the politicians. Megha currently works with The American Democracy Institute helping to inspire other young professionals to get involved in public service.
Megha has a great passion for the arts - music, dance and visual art. She recently was the executive producer of a film called Quarter Life Crisis, and works with a well-known vocalist in New York to develop her brand and communications strategy. Megha received her B.A. in Economics from Barnard College at Columbia University in New York.
